Clarkson crashed an old car in Barbados. Who wants to take a guess based on the wreckage?

Appears to be a Rover V8. RR P38, I think.

MGB on a Range Rover frame, per the story buried by bitching about Kinja:

That air filter should be serviced.

The best guess so far is a rubber bumper MGB body on top of something else.

Definitely a Rover V8. Tried looking at some of the classics, but the engine bay isn’t lining up and the bumper’s throwing me. I’m actually thinking MGBV8 with a US spec front bumper.

I was actually looking to find this figuring that someone beat me to it. Just well buried.

That looks a lot like the 3.5 V8 used in a lot of BL products.

RRC. P38 used a different intake manifold.
